750,000 Partiers Show Up at Poland's Woodstock Festival

The spirit of Woodstock is alive and well in Poland, where a massive free music festival that borrows its name from the legendary 1969 event was held at the weekend.

The Woodstock Festival in Kostrzyn-upon-Odra is the brainchild of Polish journalist and social campaigner Jerzy Owsiak, who initiated the event twenty years ago as a way of thanking volunteers and donors to his children's charity. This year's festival attracted a crowd of over 750,000, according to organizers.
